Warning: Fluff. Just plain fluff.
A/N: I needed a break from all the romantic stuff and decided to just make Riverside cuddles.

Let's face it. Sometimes, shit happens.
Way before Dustin and Josh came, Miguel and Cheska have already become the go-to people for problems.
We mean, sure Nicole could make you laugh. Sure Pancho could offer a hug or two. Sure Luis can make you forget.
But Miguel and Cheska are always ready with more than a hug or a laugh or a joke. You go to them for help and they'll offer pillows, a laptop screen, popcorn, your top five favourite Disney (or Dream Works, whichever suits your taste more) movies, a shoulder to cry on, and, if the situation calls for it, intervention and/or advice.
And at the start of their Second Year (because that's the year their bond was already formed and was holding strong), it was all just little problems. Oh, a bully here. A busy parent there. Love problems, unnecessary pain. Nothing too out of the ordinary.
Then they entered Third Year High school. And that is where shit began to start.
Tests, the pressure of getting to the college of choice. Loss, unwanted gain. Subjects, the sudden drop of grades. Pain and sadness and just overall every emotion that hurts and cuts deep...
It all happens at one point. And it wasn't long before somebody appears at Miguel or Cheska's dorm room, seeking friendlier skies.
And they always end up alright. They go out reassured and feeling better and ready to face the world.
But Dustin's situations have always been different. More screwed up and emotionally scarring than what the others had experienced. After all, facing the world is very different from facing the past. And Miguel and Cheska realize that, when facing the past, you need more than two shoulders to cry on.
In other words, Dustin doesn't want just Miguel and Cheska's comfort.
He wants Pancho's comfort.
He wants Luis's comfort.
He wants Nicole's comfort.
He wants Sven's comfort. He wants Hyme's. Sam's. Sabrina's. Pat's. Nico's. Josh's.
Because after so long, he finally has a family. After so long, he finally has people who actually give a crap about his shit-problems. People who are actually willing to listen and to stay and to wrap their arms around him and to just feel his pain.
And, for some reason, Dustin doesn't feel so alone anymore.
So that's why every once a month (on those weekends when the dorm rooms are weirdly lacking in noise and energy), you would find these specific students curled up around each other in Miguel's room, all watching their Disney movie of choice.
And sometimes they cry. Sometimes they laugh. Sometimes they talk. Sometimes they throw popcorn at each other. Sometimes they start pillow fights.
But it all ends up the same way: Pat, reading, with both Cheska and Sabrina's heads pillowed in her lap. Nicole, fiddling with her phone whilst on her back with Josh and Sam's heads on her stomach. Miguel, talking with a slumbering Pancho settled comfortably between his legs. Hyme, with Nico hanging unto his neck like a baby sloth, and Luis, head on Sven's shoulder, fingers intertwined with his.
And at the center of all that would be Dustin, sandwiched between all of them, happy and content with watching Sebastian the crab sing Under the Sea.

A/N: Because I want my Riverside babies to bond and have cuddles.
I actually have another version of this (with dialogue and more cuddles), and I'm halfway done with it. Maybe I'll put that one up, too.
Maybe.
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. This is the laugh of an evil person XDDD
More Power To You!
