The 101 Obvious Facts Of Riverside Academy 4/10

Sorry for the long wait! I went on a little Hiatus this week! All because of this play!

*Eye-bags FTW! XDDD*

So, without much further ado...

Warning: Some swearing and suggestive stuff will commence.

Pet Grooming

1: The box of kittens Sam found? Yeah, they weren't actually brothers and sisters. They were all taken from different litters and exiled into the box for being too small or too thin or too sickly.

In short, they were left in that box to die.

Fate had a very different plan for them, though (Thank God!).

2: You know how the story goes (if not, I suggest you read this first). Fifteen cats were picked up and brought to Riverside.

Thirteen cats were adopted. Two cats stayed in Riverside, though.

Their names were Pancho-Kitty and Miguel-Kitty

3: Pancho-kitty loved her name sake. During recess of lunch, she would climb four flights of stairs and would walk with her wee little paws all the way to the Third Year classroom just to rub her flank and curl her tail around Pancho's legs.

Then she would leap unto his desk and promptly plop her lean body unto whatever work he would be doing, be it his lunch box or his notes.

Pancho would honestly prefer to shove her away, but he's too much of a big softy for that.

4: Miguel-kitty loves Pancho, too. But it's a different kind of love. He just thinks Pancho is some kind of catnip prize. So he marks him as his territory every time they see each other (marking territory includes purring and curling of the tail as affectionately as possible).

("Sam! Your cats are at it again!" "Calm down, Kuya! It's not like Kuya Pancho will suddenly leave you for bestiality.")

5: Sabrina and Nicole give the best tummy rubs.

Nico and Josh know exactly where to scratch on their ears.

Miguel and Hyme always have the best treats.

Sam always has the best toys.

Sven and Luis are always willing to play with them, and Dustin at least tries.

Cheska, however, is their personal scratching post.

6: Cheska hates cats. And dogs. And rabbits. And gerbils. And hamsters. And practically every animal on the face of the earth.

In her opinion, they stink, they smell, they bite, chew, and scratch...

But animals don't like her either. It's fair game.

7: If Human-Miguel is overprotective of Human-Pancho, for the kittens, it's the other way around.

Pancho-kitty, though smaller, is much more powerful than Miguel-kitty. This wee little babe packs a punch and a scratch when needed.

In fact, she's saved Miguel-kitty's life a few times while they were still in that creul box amidst the merciless streets.

Miguel-kitty doesn't like to think about it. His ego is bruised enough already.

8: Miguel-kitty enjoys his namesake's company.

The Riverside students don't know if the two share some kind of brotherly bond of they're just two lazy arses hanging around.

9: Every week, a student is assigned to the kittens with this list of chores:
  1. Tummy rubs should be given every morning without fail
  2. Bowls should be filled to the brim every recess and lunch
  3. Water must only be kept at a level of 2 inches, no more no less. We don't want them to drown
  4. Bath water must be warm as to not alarm the kittens. Not too scalding, though, we don't need them boiled
  5. Litter box must be changed by the end of the week
  6. Keep them away from Cheska
Man, these cats are so spoiled.

10: All in all, Miguel-kitty and Pancho-kitty are very happy with their lives in Riverside.

They have awesome humans. They get food every morning and a warm heater every afternoon. They have a great space to play, and a comfy bed to sleep on.

To them, Riverside is no school.

It's kitten heaven.
