Well, here it is.
Enjoy!

Luis and Sven were the kind of couple that acted very much like an old married pair.
They bickered. They threw
half-meant insults at each other. They even had these confusing inside jokes
that only few understood.
However, on some days, it’s
like they’re not a couple at all.
They ignore each other. They
avoid each other. They even glared at each other when they got the chance.
But by the end of the day,
whatever dilemma they previously had would be gone and would be instantly
replaced by sweet kisses and loving hugs.
So, all in all, Luis and
Sven were a complex couple. But under those layers of emotion and attitude
would be two beating hearts that only yearned for its other half.
… Which is funny because if
you had said that to their faces a year ago, they would have laughed then
slapped you silly.
On the very day they first met,
Sven found a very effective way to get on Luis’s ‘delicate’ nerves (Read:
Teasing) and Luis found a very effective way of getting back at him (Read: Pranks
and Retorts). That wasn’t much of a
surprise.
It also was not a surprise
that they kept it up for majority of the first year. Sharp innuendos and well
planned trouble flitted here and there. Intense glaring contests and irritable
bitching ensued. Heck, even graded group works and bell works did not escape
the petty feud.
For in this feud, many things
broke. Teasing echoed. Prank debris littered the hallway.
But most of all, classmates
were constantly annoyed. Annoyed at Sven, for not being civil enough toward a
boy he obviously liked. Annoyed at Luis for not responding well enough toward
Sven’s obviously false jeering.
And annoyed at them both for
being so stubborn.
Because, of course, Sven’s
teasing and mocking was in no way a
method of communicating the words ‘I like you, let’s be friends’. No! Why on earth would he be friends
with somebody he loved to vex so? It wasn’t like he didn’t know how else to
talk to somebody like Luis. It wasn’t like his teasing was the only barrier he
could hide his vulnerable and shy self behind. Hell to the no!
And, most definitely, Luis’s
snapping and his pranks were not in
any way playful in content. They were his only means of payback. They were not his way of saying he enjoyed the
undivided attention. Pffft, definitely not!
And that very same attitude carried on for months… At the end of it all, their friends decided that maybe
it was a good idea to lock them inside the janitor’s closet and wait it out.
The typical Riverside
Academy treatment.
But, hey, it worked!
Maybe a little too well.
For they became more than
friends. They became a couple. They became Suis
(shut up, it’s a good name).
And they were a very
compatible couple. Sure, they still played pranks on each other and on others.
Sure, they still threw insults at each other and bickered like an old married
couple.
But they love each other.
And honestly? It’s sweet. Cavity inducing, but beautifully sweet.
However, when asked about
what they talked about or did in that janitor’s closet, the sweetness of their
relationship would suddenly hike up into something more heated and a secret
smile would pass between the two.
And then the nearby
Riverside students would balk and swiftly move on, ignoring how Sven and Luis
would suddenly disappear for an hour. Or two.
So, never ask about what
happened in the janitor’s closet.
That’s sacred, turf, man.
Sacred turf.

A/N: Yeah. That's it. Fairly short, for once, yeah?
Oh, and by the way, the collab? Jane Doe said that she's a tad bit busy with school. So I'm doing it! This episode might come in two parts, though. I might also slip a little mystery in there.
But, you'll have to wait for the post to find out!
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I am an evil, evil person.
More Power To You!

ReplyDeleteI only checked this now, dear. Sorry for late reply.
DeleteThanks for commenting.
You know, I felt so guilty while I was writing this. Luis and Sven were behind me and if they saw that I was writing down my thoughts on their relationship I would've died of embarrassment.
Well, see you in school by Monday!
