This one takes place after the Field Trip or in other words, after the events of the Bluestocking Collab. So, it might have a few spoilers. And also a few hints toward Sydney's Dragicorn Series. You might have to read that to understand, though.
But I hope you enjoy anyway!

Nico hates traveling through dimensions.
Worm holes have this effect on him, you see. It seeps his strength, drains water from his system, brings him raging migraines.
And sometimes it messes with his brain. Sometimes it brings forth nightmares.
Oh, how he dreads those nightmares.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
The first alternate universe he goes to in his sleep and Sam is in a mental asylum, screaming and sobbing when he appears before her.
It’s too late now!
She yells, tears streaming down her cheeks. It’s
too late!
He doesn’t stick around to
find out why.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
The next dimension is kinder
but more…Non-existent.
He meets the Other-Sir
Raymond, who regards him with a cold demeanour.
Kids these days.
He hisses, rolling his eyes as he turns him away. They all belong to the zoo.
He immediately leaves.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
Looks like you took a wrong turn. Other-Sven says with a laugh. Riverside is bigger here,
the world brighter.
He frowns. He can stay.
But he leaves when he sees
Other-Hyme. A Hyme who doesn’t know him.
He’ll just waste away here.
He needs to go back.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
The fifth and he’s
exhausted.
The world is a waste land
here. No shelter or water for miles on end.
He sees something glitter on
the ground. He picks it up.
It’s a picture frame, beneath
it the photo of his class.
The paper is old and yellow.
With a shiver, he gets a feeling everyone he loves is dead.
He leaves, and doesn’t
brave a look back.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
There’s no sadness in this
world.
They smile more in this
world.
There are no tears in this
world.
They are puppets in this
world.
He frowns. He doesn’t like
this world.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
He doesn’t exist here. It
hurts to think about it.
I’m sorry, you are?
Other-Miguel asks. He looks down at the outstretched hand and he withdraws,
temples throbbing.
He turns and runs, ignoring
Other-Miguel’s confused shouts.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
He’s lazier in this world.
He’s careless in this world.
He dies young in this world.
He went.
Other-Nicole tearfully tells him, her eyes filled to the brim with pain. It was a drug overdose. He never graduated.
He cries when he hears the
story.
They beg him not to go, but
he knows he’s not allowed to stay.
He doesn’t want to stay.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
Is that you?
Other-Hyme asks him as he reaches out with a shaking hand. Nico…?
Other-Hyme is older here.
More world weary.
More hurt than ever before.
He clenches his eyes shut at
the sight as he leaves.
He doesn’t want to see the
tears fall from those much loved eyes.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
We can’t take another passenger. Other-Cheska says, frowning. He just shakes his head at
her and urges his Other-Friends to leave him.
This world is a fantasy
realm, he thinks. A fantasy realm with floating islands and mysterious fog.
This world is in the middle
of an apocalypse, he knows. An apocalypse with treacherous air pirates and a
cruel government.
His Other-Friends say that
his other self had died earlier on due to the stress.
He casts his eyes to the
ground before he leaves as the air ship takes off.
He was never needed here.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
He’s married in this world.
Happily married.
But to the wrong person.
We broke up after college. Other-Him says, shrugging. Don’t know where he is now. Heard he went back packing around Europe.
He leaves when he hears
that, not wanting to listen anymore.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
He passes universe after
universe, meeting different versions of himself. As he nears his destination,
the situations become worse and worse.
His friends, evil, twisted,
crazy.
Himself, dead, useless, a
coward.
He gulps and forces himself to move.
Nothing could get any worse
than this.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
He is wrong.
The last dimension is the
worst.
Blood, everywhere.
Bodies, everywhere.
His eyes widen and a scream
rips his throat.
His legs give out and he
falls to the floor.
His temples are throbbing.
His whole form is shaking.
He’s reached a dead end.
He’s hit rock bottom. He will never escape.
I want to go back…
He whimpers, sobbing. I want to go back.
A shot fires and the bullet
comes his way.
He doesn’t dodge.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
He wakes up with a jolt.
‘Bout time. Hyme
grumbles. Relief runs through him. This is the world.
This is his world.
Bad dream? Hyme
asks. He just nods and buries his face in the crook of Hyme’s neck.
It’s good to be back.
He murmurs. He hears Hyme's confused hum.
What?
He just grins and inhales
Hyme’s familiar scent, happy.
Nothing.
He replies. I just love you.
Hyme chuckles. I’m rather fond of you, too.
He playfully hits his
boyfriend on the shoulder and they settle back into a deep sleep.
No bad dreams this time.
-Xxx-X-xxX-
A/N: Yeah... So, there's some Nyme for you.
Now, now, I know what you're going to say... We don't even know Hyme's personality! We don't even have a basis for their relationship! Isn't he straight or a homophobe or somethin'?
Don't worry, dear readers, Hyme's personality and feelings for Nico will soon be revealed in the next installment of the Collab. We're getting to it as fast as we can. For now, however, we'll leave Omakes to keep you satisfied.
The next Omake will be Suis. Don't worry, that one won't have any spoilers.
More Power To You!
